Anything over 8.6 feet wide requires special permits, and this specific part of the load was 12.8 feet wide. Consequently, we needed Police escorts, pilot cars, and state reviews.

Adding to the complexity was a crucial component: a large, coiled piece, a part of the unit’s body. “Just that piece alone was 15 feet wide, and we had to position it just right,” Fernando notes.

“In the end, we needed nine separate ‘fall off loads’ to carry the rest of the parts on flatbeds,” explains Fernando. “Each of these loads was crucial, and we had to ensure every piece arrived perfectly to be assembled.”
