Tackling a Complex Oversized Load
The tractor came equipped with duals and an overwidth blade, making it a first for the customer. Moving such a large load required careful planning and compliance with transportation regulations. The solution? Dismantle the duals and blade for safer and more efficient transport.
The team proposed transporting the duals on the rear deck of an RGN trailer and the blade on a separate trailer. However, finding mechanics to dismantle the parts during late December proved challenging. High dismantling costs added to the complexity.
Our customer had a contact at a nearby John Deere dealership. We collaborated to remove the duals and blade within 24 hours. By coordinating loading assistance and dispatching an experienced driver, we ensured everything was ready for transport without delays.
